This city is very close to my heart, so this is an ode to Manchester. I wanted to use elements of what makes Manchester famous in the design so took inspiration from its abundance of rain for the icon, then echoing the visual of ripples in puddles for the graphic language. Small nods to the infamous Manchester Bee are used in shapes and inspiration for the colour palette was taken from the city itself.
